About Us
Wright's Auto & Tractor Parts, Inc. was founded in 1939 by W.W. (Windy) Wright who started
in business with only one employee, his brother, Clyde (Red) Wright; both remained with the
company their entire lives. In the beginning they only sold used car parts, but after being in business for
a few years "Windy" began to focus more on selling used tractor and combine parts since his business
was located in the heart of a large farming community (Quincy, Illinois).

Then the Business expanded to selling new car, truck and tractor parts, but we are still very much
in the business of selling used parts for tractors, combines and small dozers. We also have some
machinery (tractors, combines, etc.) that are sold as whole units. In addition to this, we have a machine
shop that offers many custom services.
We incorporated our business in 1970 and expanded into a new building in 1975.
Now our company is managed by "Windy's" grandson, David Wright who has worked for the family business
for several decades and brings much experience to the leadership of the company. Other dedicated family
members involved in our business include Joan and Donna Wright who are also officers of the company.
